Purchased to cover two hanging 34x34x34 side draft swamp coolers. The covers are sturdy and the stitched seams are done very well with large/sturdy thread (I know because I partially deconstructed a seam - read below). The description said these are slightly bigger than the advertised size to make fitting easier and that was accurate. I expected to see seams on every corner but that was not the case which presented a challenge to me. The waterproof coating is a bit tacky (perhaps it is some type of paragon) and it comes off on your hands and clothes (see picture of my jeans) - after two washings it did come out and I discovered quickly to wear gloves

Because the coolers at our church are hanging I had to work around the support chains. I figured I would rip two seams and add snaps but only one corner was sown. I did rip that seam (very strong construction) and then added snaps to close it after fitting around the chain. On the other side there wasn't a seam so I cut a 4" slit and added snap buttons on the end to help avoid any ripping. I did have to support one side of the swamp cooler so I could remove the chain and then quickly reinstall after fitting that corner. I did secure them with straps since it can get windy in the area where the coolers are located. The. Oilers are under cover so these covers won't be in the direct sunlight which may have been an issue in the CO high altitude sun and weather

Overall very pleased with the construction and fitting but I question how well the weatherproof coating would hold up if exposed directly to the elements for a couple of years

Super heavy duty worth the money it just smells very stale and will make your house smell like an old warehouse for a few days. Overall very happy with the quality. We have high winds here in NM and these are holding up very nice

I purchased this cover online because I had no luck locating any at my local hardware store-
I am always slightly apprehensive when ordering stuff online however this cover was exactly what I was looking for!
I measured my swamp cooler prior, and found that this cover fits perfectly. I was happy to find dimensions were obviously listed so there was no room for error!
It's been on for the crazy winter weather we've had the last few months and is still in great shape. Great quality canvas. Would order again.

Lasts a longtime

Not a glamorous purchase. The measurements were accurate - fit my swamp cooler perfectly. I bought a cooler cover probably 15 years ago - may have been the same manufacturer; it was in Utah. The canvas on the previous cover seemed a little heavier. And, the new one had a little "rancid" smell to it; most likely due to the treatment to make it water-resistant. If it lasts for 15 years, it will have been a bargain. Time will tell.
