This is good tie wire. I'm currently using it to wrap a 20' X 50' carport in welded wire fencing. I chose SS tie wire so it wouldn't rust, since my building is subject to Central Florida weather (afternoon monsoon).
My local home improvement retail stores do not carry SS versions, so I took a chance ordering this. I ordered two rolls in my first order and, after approving of the quality, ordered two more. The SS version is considerably more expensive than standard tie wire; but, for exposed and permanent installations, it's definitely worth the expenditure.

I actually purchased this to make bird toys. I saw another review saying it worked well for that purpose so I purchased it! It's the right amount of stiffness and thickness to use as the core of the toy. The fact that it's stainless steel means it's safer than other products available.

I use this for a durable utility wire. I hang bird feeders with this wire and it drives squirrels nuts - they can't climb or chew the slick #16 stainless steel wire!
