Amazing

OMG!!!!! I love it, loveeeeeeeeee it, I have a bathtub is not deep, the one I want cost $1000.00 + to put it in the bathroom...I saw this and was like wow. I am a big girl, 248 lbs and 5' 6" tall, I had no issues still had some room to move around, felt like I had my own small pool. I put it inside the tub and was an amazing experience, thank you for whom ever invented this....and yes, directions are in Japanese, but pictures are also included, a baby can put it together, just saying, giggles...
This is a game changer for the spatially challenged- it fits just fine in my stand up shower

I live in a tiny East village apartment in NYC, and always wanted to relax in a hot tub but the two always seemed mutually exclusive. This is a game changer for the spatially challenged- it fits just fine in my stand up shower, and I can drain and hang to dry when not using. As other reviewers have mentioned, you should anticipate having it elevated over the shower's drain in order for it to drain properly, I use a teak shower mat that supports it perfectly. I also took the plastic end cap off one of the plastic tubes used as the vertical supports which allows me to insert an open end slack hanger into it for hanging on the shower rod. I love this stupid thing.

I vacillated over buying it for months. I love baths, and I have a shower only. But will this cheesy-looking thing work? Is it sturdy enough to even hold the water? (Yeah, I know that sounds stupid, but I've been burned before. I try to take nothing for granted.) Will it snag on something and spout a hole in a month? Then I just took the plunge (sorry about the pun).

When I first propped it up in my walk-in shower, I felt so stupid. Buyer's remorse on steroids: I just bought a kiddie pool for myself... geez what a fool. And then I filled it up and sat down. First thought: I'm in love. I'm 5'5", and small (not tiny) framed. There's lots of room: I don't have to cross my legs when I sit, and if I chose I could fill the water well over my head. This is a SOAKING tub, not really a BATHING one; you can't stretch out your legs to shave them, and it's not easy to dunk your head to get your hair wet. (Full disclosure, I sometimes do both, but it takes some contorting.)

I don't understand why (scientists want to respond?), but it holds the water's heat for a long time. An HOUR after I've drawn my bath, the water is still *hot.* I have no idea why, but I love that about it. Even my husband, who hates baths, will sit in it sometimes on tough gym days. Epson salt for the muscles, and it's off to sleep in a snap!

It is sturdy. The plastic is very thick. The design is basic: just flexible plastic with inserts for PVC pipes that hold it up, and an inflatable ring which helps the sides stay erect while you're filling it up. After trial-and-error, I've learned to position it close to the tub spout, leave the rim uninflated while filling it, and push the plastic under the bath spout. After it's full, I move the plastic out from under the spout and inflate the rim. Then the bath spout touches the outside of the plastic, so I just drape a towel over the spout (so it doesn't scratch the plastic - that might not be necessary.) I think I'm going to buy a plastic faucet extender (Prince Lionheart Faucet Extender is what I found on Amazon) to solve this tiny issue.

I will say, though, that I *don't* love it when it's not in use, though, because it's big and wet and baby blue - not exactly easy to stash in my bathroom. But I'll figure something out.

Short answer: buy it. If you're looking, it's because you 'need' it. It'll work, and you'll love it - after you do your own work-arounds.
Tub can be used in a corner stand up glass door shower

This is the perfect soaking tub. I had a 2 person jetted hot tub that did not work for me or my space. Here is the trick to using this tub inside a small bathroom stand up shower ... make a wooden platform with plywood and small cut up 2x4 boards to elevate the tub so it will drain in the shower. If you place in the shower with out the little platform it will seal up the drain. I learned that the hard way. I have a hand held shower head that I remove the shower head allowing it to dangle into the tub to fill. I filled the first tub with all the way turned on hot, which made the tub water 112 degrees - way too hot for me. It retains the heat with no problem. It is the perfect soaking tub!
I love it!

I love it!! I am 5"4 and I used a small step stool (on a rug) to step in and out. I sat slightly crossed legged. Filled it 1/3 up and it covered me to my chest... shocked how comfy and warm it was.. I used provided drain tube until the pressure stopped then just scooped the water out and then emptied in shower, all of which took less than 4 min...
Draining: I put a pic up so you could see the scale and why I put mine next to the shower. It blocked the drain inside the stall so I put it right next to the shower with the drain spout facing shower. After about a minute (drains fast) the pressure stopped so I scooped out water until I could lift the tub and empty in the shower stall. 4 minutes TOPS! I let it air out for awhile then towel dried folded and VOILA put away!

Worth it. Just plan how you will drain.
