I bought two of these - one for my sister in Mississippi and one for myself. They came as expected and look really pretty. Mine works as soon as I put the battery in (the bottom doesn't turn it off) but it's no big issue. I just turn the battery around till I want to use it again. My sister is very pleased with hers as well. Pretty decoration for the price and not too gaudy!

Cute idea and looks adorable in the picture, but opened one and it was leaking in the plastic and the top came apart from the base when I opened it. The glue was cheap and didn't hold it together and it was covered in the sticky fluid that was leaking. I ordered 20 of them for a holiday party for centerpieces and I chose not to open any of the others. Even though I ordered on Amazon Prime and didn't pay any shipping charges, I now have to pay shipping up front to return all of them in addition to taking them someplace to facilitate this. Not a happy camper right now!!

I have only tested this when it arrived, but plan to use it a lot over the Christmas holiday. It is so adorable, and a very reasonable price. The scene inside, snow, and light make it a cozy and unique addition to your decorating. It would fit perfectly in any room, and is permanently attached to the base so no putting it together.
