Necessary for any long distance accuracy. Good price fast shipping here. This brand is just as accurate/reliable as the more expensive brands. Only possible downside at all is the placement on your scope. Because it folds back along the side of the scope it has to be behind or in front of the turret with clearance in the folded position for turret and rear ring (depending on your scope and the number of turrets). MAY involve loosening scope and changing scope placement in rings (and re-zero) to install properly. I did not have to do that with the scope that this was mounted on, but it was very close.

I have these on all of my long range guns. Why I bought these and not others is because they stick out further than most after flipping it out. I can keep my eye directly behind the scope and still see these protruding off to the right side of my scope. (I'm a right handed shooter) My particular optics did not allow mounting it on the left side because of my parallax knob got in the way. Otherwise you should be able to mount this on either side.
I would like to see a ceramic ball or other non-air bubble ...

I have used the ACD anti cant devices, the Wheeler Anti cant device with top bubble, and the Wheeler Anti cant side mount/collapsible device. Once you have your rifle platform level, level your scope to the rifle. Once your scope is level, level the anti cant device to the scope. I would like to see a ceramic ball or other non-air bubble device used. When I shoot my AR-10, the bubbles frequently multiply after a shot and I have to rotate and shake my rifle to get the bubbles to merge again. There may be better anti cant devices out there, but they are three times or more in price.

Excellent. Easy to install. The folding feature is nice for packing the rifle away in a case. The best part is that your off eye can monitor the level while your dominant eye engages the scope. When installing, make sure you use a plumb bob to make sure that the level is completely perpendicular to the vertical line of your scope reticle.
