Made my solder job much easier!
Brent H•July 31, 2017
Used for the first time over the weekend on soldering a wire harness to allow for an amp install to my factory head unit in my f150 and it made the job so much easier than the flux that came with my iron. Purchased based off recommendation from a youtube video. This will last a long time so it is a great addition to your tool box.
A half-toothpick stored inside the container works great!
j_222•June 23, 2017
After reading a review here on Amazon, I decided to try out the solder paste versus a tube.
This stuff works great, is cheaper than a tube and if you break a toothpick in half, you can leave it in the container so that you always have it for use. For me, it was more of a cost thing. I don't solder all that often, so having something that doesn't expire is a good thing.

It's much firmer than what I was looking for in use to soldering copper wires. This seems to be more for applications where you would want to brush on or apply with a pick. I wanted something to dip my wires into. Think I will be getting some DeoxIt RSF-R80 instead. Will keep this around as I am sure I can use it on something.
Good general purpose flux

Great flux! I use it both applied with a pick, and I've filled a 30ml syringe with it. Both methods work fine.
I have some LEDs on a ribbon that have been sitting in a humid environment for 6 years. They are difficult if not impossible to solder due to corrosion. This flux eats right through that corrosion so I no longer have to sand the legs of the LEDs. Good stuff. And the solder flows much better with this than without it.

Works Great And Makes Me Look Like I know What I'm Doing!

As I'm 'soldering-challenged', I picked this up after reading some positive comments. Sure enough, it really helps get a nice bond and good flow. Even when using rosin core solders, this has taken my hobbyist / fix-up skills to the next level. No more will the 'solder-bullies' laugh in my face!
