I have the old box where the lid is not attached. This box with the attached lid is much easier to use. I don't have to worrying about where to place a hot lid. The only problem is I can't get it to stay open while cooking. So far I've only cooked with it once, so I need to really check it figure it out. Of course, my husband threw away the package instructions.
