Delicious, makes two thin pies

This was my first time making pecan pie and it was delicious. Sweet, yes, but by splitting the jar into two frozen crust (not deep dish) pie shells the cooled pie was on the thin size so a slice doesn't overbear. I added the eggs and butter as indicated on the directions, but baked longer than recommended, for 70 minutes, as I feared a jellied/undercooked pie. It came out great.
