I have been wearing zemgear for the past 8 months so this review will be based on a comparison between the two. First these are NOT minimalist shoes, so if you intend to use these for minimalist running DO NOT PURCHASE THESE. These are booties not shoes. The soles are actually made of fabric and will wear down very fast if you wear these outside and walk on concrete, just imagine how fast they will wear if you are running. Zemgear are minimalist shoes for those looking for a light weight shoe. Nufoot can however be used for low impact workouts like yoga. Secondly, overall these are very inexpensive foot wear for low impact workouts, lounging, reading, relaxing. The look very good are they are extremely comfortable. In terms of fit, I have no idea what other people who have left a review are saying about a chemical smell, because there is no smell. In terms of fit, they fit like a glove and gives full coverage. If you are a size 10.5 a medium will fit you. Are these warm the answer is yes they are very warm. JUST REMEMBER IF YOU WANT A MINIMALIST SHOE FOR RUNNING, SAND, WATER SPORTS ZEMGEAR IS THEORY PROPER FOOT WEAR FOR THAT PURPOSE. THEORY ARE FOR LOUNGING LOW IMPACT WORK OUTS.

Nufoot is the best. They are socks made of wetsuit material. Making these very very warm socks. If you are not cold and only chilled. Dont bother using these. These socks can be worn with nylon shorts only and in 30 to 40 degree cooler weather than you are use too, and you will be comfortable as heck. Every part of your body can be absolutely frozen and you wont feel it because your feet are warm. DO NOT WEAR THESE OUTSIDE OR ON PAVEMENT OR ANY ABRASIVE SURFACE. They just aren't built for that. Honestly I'm glad they aren't. They dont have a need for a strong sole because you can slip on almost any pair of shoes with these. Yes, I do mean slip on! Wetsuit material makes your socks nearly slide into any pair of shoes. Bottom still has great grip so there is no sliding. I've owned one pair for a year. They weren't ruined they just had a small hole in bottom from wearing outside a couple times.

REMEMBER! They will be tight, uncomfortable a little, keep wearing them! Wet them slightly. Get them hot. Let them mold to your foot. Adter about 24 hours of wearing them they will be molded to your feet and be absolutely perfect. To ensure they always end up on correct foot, I simply wrote a L and R into the very inside ankle of each sock. Even if i cant read the letter the black writing is always on the inside ankle. Just received and have not yet worn them. Tried on, took advice of other buyers...SIZE UP! I'm men's 11, got the XL...perfect fit. These were out of stock for a while. I was a regular wearer. Previously they had a lightweight sole sewn on. Now they don't. Just some plastic looking non slip things that look like they're "melted' (metaphor) into the fabric. No R/L. They're like bags for your feet! Durability unknown. Seem to be just as comfortable. These are pure indoor slippers. No dash to the mailbox. Wear over sox to keep sox clean and feet a little warmer watching TV, hanging in the house, etc. Very lightweight. Almost like no shoe at all.

I like these booties for my yoga class. They stay in place and don't slip on surfaces. My only issue is they tend to hot during practice but otherwise they are great.

A couple of things to consider. The sizing chart says a Large will fit 8.5 to 11. I wear a 9.5 shoe so ordered the Large. They are snug. Very snug. Not sure how these would fit someone with a size 11 foot. Maybe I read the chart wrong, but I don't think so. Also, I think they're made of neoprene so they make my feet sweat a bit. Haven't decided if I like them. I'll wear them a little while longer to see if I get used to them. Other than the sizing, they're exactly how they're described. Took off one star for the size issue.
