Product is great and works as it should

We received a repair quote from a BMW dealer for a couple hundred dollars when the wiper fluid no longer shot onto the windshield of our children's car. After some searching via the internet, I was able to find some information on how to change out this item myself. With the purchase of this product for less than $10, I was able to make the repair myself and save hundreds. Product is great and works as it should.
Works for 2003 BMW 325i

I bought this windshield washer pump to replace the one in a 2003 BMW 325i. It was pretty simple - unbolt the reservoir from the top, unhook the washer fluid level sensor harness , unhook the water pump harness and tube leading to wiper nossles, take off old pump/grommet/strainer, replace and install in reverse. The only difference I saw between this part and the original was that the new one's grommet did not come with a strainer. Bought the strainer separately though, and it's working fine so far.
Installed and working on 2008 BMW X3

These installed just as the OEM motors. They come with new rubber seals but they did not have integrated strainers on the seals like comes from the factory so I just reused my original seals with strainers. They appear just as the OEM but are obviously a knock off as they do not have any markings to indicate part number or manufacturer.
This pump was a good replacement for my BMW
Phantom448✓ Verified Purchase•June 5, 2023
This pump was a good replacement for my BMW. However, the pressure seems to be a bit lower than the pump I was replacing. The spray from the washer jets only reaches the lower part of my windshield when I am stopped. At higher speeds, the extra airflow allows the washer fluid to reach the center of my windshield, which is fine with me. Overall, I am happy with my purchase since this pump was almost $30 less than the OEM part.
Can't beat the price

For the price I paid ($6.99) I can't complain. The pump is weaker than OEM, but it's functional, solved my leak, and was very easy to install after removing the tank (though you probably don't have to do all that). Note that the grommet does NOT include the strainer piece, which is attached to the old grommet (couldn't switch it out). But whatever, if the pump gets fouled it's only 7 bucks to replace.
