Love these Dynarex scalpels!

These scalpels were just what I needed for removing dead skin and calluses on my heels and big toe that seem to be the result of playing tennis and maybe diabetes. They are very sharp, so extreme caution should be taken when using these scalpels as it is easy to nick yourself if you are not paying close attention while using them. After using the scalpel, I buff the area with an electric foot sander to make my heels soft and smooth. Then, I apply body butter to the area and wear socks to finish my weekly foot care regimen. Great results! The scalpels seem to stay sharp for 3-5 uses.

They are nice and sharp, but I got a wicked razor rash when I used them to remove peach fuzz on my face.

This is a great product, I have been looking for something very sharp. Well I found it! Now I won't have to use kitchen scissors or a butter knife anymore on my patients while performing surgery in my basement. I was getting a little concerned since the death count was racking up, didn't realize it was due to the rusty scissors. I think it's safe to say they will be happy with my purchase. Can't wait to go down to the sellar and show them my new scalpels! Eeeeeee!

We do custom painting on cars and can never find sharp razors so I thought I would give these a try. out of the packets I find that its sharp not sure how long its going to last see as how Im not using these to cut anyone open but If I had to they would get the job done I put a few in my medical kit. Never know when you might need it but for the price very lite weight so they don't take up any room. We do a lot of camping and hiking to so that's one more reason I got this bags are sealed and has a cover over knife blade.Five stars because it works for me no dislikes at this time.

I bought this product without really knowing what it was. I had a good idea that it was a scalpel blade, but not the entire actual blade and handle.
I purchased these for a first aid kit (building one off of an SAS survival guide) and thought it would be fine. I was right, except I had to remove the scalpel from the sealed package and break it off of the plastic handle to fit into the Altoid tin. It's still sharp and it's still what I needed, I just wish I would have bought the blades only.
I have since given out a few to those looking to put in survival kits and have stored a couple in my medical bag (fully sealed and stock).
Obviously these things are sharp. I cut myself breaking the plastic handle, yes I'm dumb, and I can attest the blade itself is not TOO flexible and cheap feeling when it cuts. Haha
