What can you say about clam juice really? It is juice. It tastes like essence of clams, in a good way. If you need it, you NEED it. Nothing else will do.

I am blessed! Married for 46 years to a CIA trained chef. Not the undercover CIA but the overt, cooking kind. The kind who think the three food groups are bacon, butter and cream. I like this kind best. They like fluffy, zaftig girls who appreciate a great clam juice for brodetto, cioppino, micheladas, and clam chowder. Even a quirky ceviche. Just like the surprise introduction of fish sauce to a non-Asian recipe, so it goes with clam juice. A whiff of sea air along with a sip of sauce. I just don't want to know how they juice those poor clams"¦.

I bought this to soak food pellets in to make them more attractive to my turtles. I expected the juice to be much more pungent, but I could barely smell anything. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing (it probably depends on your individual intended use), but it seemed to do the trick with my turtles.

My biggest issues with this bottle is that you need a bottle opener to open it, and you can't screw the cap back on. Why? Why would they use this type of cap with clam juice of all things? Do they expect that someone is going to crack open a cold bottle of clam juice after a long day and chug it down in one sitting? I need to be able to put this back in the refrigerator without the threat of having clam juice spilled everywhere, people. Hence, the deducted star. Otherwise, the product seemed ok.

Love the taste in chowder soup and price was the best I found compared to most stores if I could even find it.

This is a great brand of clam juice and I use it often. At times it's difficult to find at the grocery store, so I was pleasant pleased to be able to order at Amazon!

I used this product, again, last night making Linguine and Clams. I find the can of clams does not have enough clam juice and by adding a bottle of clam juice makes it perfect for a serving of two. I've tried other brands but this one is my favorite.
