I found that these varied in quality from peg to peg. One was misshaped - it had a bulge on the peg that had to be scraped off before I could thread it on to the guitar. Also, when under tension they had odd behavior when de-tuning -- I had to turn it a full rotation before there was any change in string tension. No problems tuning up or holding the tune.
These would be okay for a $20 bass that your buddy gave you that you're trying to bring back to life, but if you have a decent instrument I'd spend a little more.

The product itself is very high quality. It is my fault that I did not read the extended description closely enough to see that these were "bass" tuners because they do not fit my guitar. The result it that I am not actually able to use the product.

Relieved the package it was full of washers but no nuts. The tuning head fell off because the screw was stripped. One of the tunners would not turn. My advice put $40 more dollars in and buy a decent set of tuners.
Threads unusable on 2 out of 4.

The threads for 2 out of the 4 tuners were unusable. I was very careful to not cross-thread them but the ferrules could not be tightened past a couple of turns.

Whoever said "You get what you pay for" must've been a bass player. One of these tuners broke before my bass up was even up to pitch. Luckily, I'm only out $8.25. Trust me, spend your eight bucks at Jack In The Box instead; you'll be better served.
