There only a few companies that make a fairly small kerosene heater. The boys are up there at about 23,000 BTU's. This little guy is around 10,500 BTUs and I'm sorry to say this as a man, but it is absolutely adorable. It is just the right size for your garage and especially for emergency purposes. The tank takes about 1 gallon and it seems like it burns forever. The construction I believe is high-quality with all the features, including safety features, of its big Brothers. Order is virtually nonexistent except when you extinguish the flame. But that is a result that will be found in every kerosene heater. Startup has virtually no odor and electronic igniter starts the heater in about a second or two. Absolutely a great buy!

works like a champ! no major odor and can't beat the heat! We keep a large pot of water on top of the heaters and it makes a huge difference. This is quite possibly the best heater on the planet, I know the two we have are running like champs almost full time, as long as you burn all the kerosene out the wicks stay working fine.

Like my Dyna-glo heater. Really warm up a large room in no time. Save on heating cost too. It's the small one. And it does the job of keeping you warm. It doesn't smoke up the house like some does. You can also buy an extra wick on Amazon too. Its very easy to install. Little Great kerosene Heater. Well recommended!
Good Little Heater/Requires much wick maintenance

Good little heater but the wick requires a lot of maintenance. If you plan on using this as a constant heating source, I'd buy 2 so that while you're dry burning, cleaning or replacing the wick on one, the other can be used for heating. On the positive side, it burns for 15 hours on one tank (1.1 gal) of kerosene.

A keeper. Cheap to run and makes good odor free heat. Must dry burn every third tank or it doesn't run great. Do the dry burns and it is a great heater.
