Two days after install, no issue. The valve stem assembly (bottom bit) was made of plastic instead of metal like the factory one. I'm assuming that's where the money was saved making this part. If I had to give advice: make sure you remember to change these out in a few years so the plastic doesn't fall apart and get into your engine.

Fixed my 2000 Avalon right up. Was missing and dropping power after a few seconds on consistent RPMs on the highway. I thought it was the transmission but after using a WiFi obd2 dongle and dashcommand app it showed me what code was being thrown. A quick google and some forum searches lead me to this part. I'm a thousand miles in and still running good. Took about 15 minutes to replace.

Fits perfect for 99-03 LEXUS RX300 or the ES300 of the same vintage that use this same 3.0l engine. Highly recommend replacing these around 100k to avoid any issues. Replaced mine due to issues arising and presenting check engine lights with codes. Had it happen to both RX300's that I own.

just what i thought it would be. Dorman is used a lot in aftermarket parts. Yes made in china but all there stuff works well and especially for the money. I recommend u buy Dorman vvt solenoids.

Solved my 2001 Sienna problem- car was bucking and slowing down. Especially when i let off the gas the engine ran really rough. I had one of these valves fail before so i sort of new what the problem was. This replacement is working just as good as the Toyota one which i recall was at least 3X the price.
