I love this little vise. It should do everything that I as a homeowner should have to do. I've used it a couple of times and it worked just fine, great for holding lawnmower blades and my bush ax. Now I don't have to worry about something slipping and me cutting my finger off. Yep, I'm very happy with this vise just wish I had gotten it sooner.

Great hobby / home vice. Sturdy, great for a home mechanic who needs to grind or beat on medium to small things. Make sure you bolt it to something 1-2" thick with 1/2" bolts (I had to DRILL out the holes 0.5MM on each, took 10 seconds per). If you intend to mount 100lb+ objects, go bigger. But this thing is great if you mount it properly.

Great purchase! Can do things now in short order. Before this it took quite awhile some times hours depending on what your doing. I had to remove cross links from my new heavy duty truck chains. They are case hardened steel and not the small verity. The vise held with me using a large punch and a 4lb hammer hitting it more than a dozen times as hard as I could! Vise did not whimper at all. I don't know how I did it with out this Yost Vise. Just get it , you'll love it.
