A good product and a time-saver for me.

I got this because blowing leaves in a pile and then mulching them was taking too long. I read other reviews, and decided to give it a try. I have used it twice and each time for about 4 hrs. I like it. I put a tarp and moving blanket under it to keep it from ripping across tree roots. The tarp is held in place by a piece of cast iron pipe threaded with a rope, and the tarp grommets, and tied to the grass catcher support bracket. I filled the bag completely about 9 times with this set-up in the 2 days. I have a lot of trees on about 2 acres. The bag is still as good as new. The only reason I did not give a 5 rating that the patch that was described on the package was missing. I hope I don't need one next year, but if I do, I'll reorder it because of the amount of time I saved using it.

it is a bit of a pain to work worth at first, tends to clog up pretty easily if you have a ton of leaves in your yard. Also puts alot of strain on discharge tub as it fills up and starts to tug on it. However, once you learn how many leaves it can handle in a run and to not turn too sharply and pinch off the discharge into the bag, it actually works pretty well. I'm sure it is great for a small yard and relatively few leaves. I have a wooded lot and over an acre of heavy leaf cover to remove, but it still beat raking them on to a tarp and dragging them.

I have used this once and it worked well. Far better than emptying the leaf hoppers on my craftsman 42" mower every 5 minutes. It did tear during the first use... probably on the utility trailer I was trying to use rather than dragging the bag on the ground and across pavement. The 5x8 trailer did not work because the rail around it made the bag sit too high to work properly. The bag is made of fairly light material and I can't imagine it lasting long dragging across driveways, etc. Next time I'm going to put a tarp under it. I see that some competitors have a tarp with the bag. Otherwise, I would say this is a good item. Even if I had to buy a new bag every fall, it would be worth it.

What a find! Once I figured out how to attach it to the grass collector on the back of my Craftsman tractor (which only took a couple of minutes) I was vacuuming leaves up at an incredible clip! On my first go around I collected so many leaves in the bag that two of us couldn't lift it up to empty it into my pickup truck. After that, we just didn't fill it as full. This is an incredible time saver and back saver. The bag drags on the ground but so far no rips and no problems. Seems to be very well made. I wish I had found this a few years ago.

Now on my second year with this item. This thing is an absolute life saver. I have to empty it once for every 5 times I used to empty the bags which come with the tractor. I think it will work with any tractor equipped with a chute. I'm buying another one just in case. It's quite sturdy. It's quick to remove and put back on.
