We ordered this for our patio sliding door. We have an almost 16 yr old Labrador we have to keep the slider open for to get outside during the night. It's a struggle when it's cold out and we finally came up with this solution. We installed it last night and the difference is amazing. We did cut about 2 inches off the bottom of the straps to accommodate being placed inside rather than outside so it didn't get beat up by winds. So yes, it works great for keeping the cold out...or in...however you need to use it :)

Bought this brand due to the customer comments and I was not disappointed. The easiest barn-related item I've ever installed. It literally took all of 5 minutes to drill the holes and mount the bracket. Use it on the guillotine door of our goat pen so that the goats can still go out through the door on frigid, blustery days but it blocks the wind from coming into the pen. Will also be great in the summer to keep the heat out of the pen. Love, love, love this product. Only wish I had purchased it 2 winters ago.
