Like Puritan's competition, the wooden sticks are too thin and they break easily. Why not just charge a couple of bucks more and have thicker sticks like they used to have, AKA a higher quality product.

I always bought the old Puritan swabs, because they used quality wood for the handles. But it looks like these are now from China. The wood is crap. The cotton is wrapped to tightly for my purposes.
