I was always a "throw it on the floor" kind of guy. But I bought a new car and decided to change my ways. Put it on the back of the passenger seat and works great.
It does not leak at all - so far - and I have put soda cans in it.
Only shortcoming: It's a bit tricky to remove and replace - especially if you have anything else strapped to the headrest. If it had a removable piece to pull out, empty, replace it would be perfect!

I love having this in my car. I hang it on the back of the front passenger seat so that when I'm driving I can reach it and it is easy for passengers in the back seat to use. I recently bought a second one because my husband also liked it. We never have loose trash in the car.

This is the second High Road trash container I have ordered, the first being purchased severaI years ago. The original hangs on the back of the driver's seat in our minivan. It holds far more trash than I had envisioned, both wet and dry, but I realized the grands in the third row of seats weren't using it, choosing instead to leave leftover food and drink in the cup holders. That was my lightbulb moment, so I purchased and hung the second one on the back of a second row seat. Now, the first one is still going strong and I have no reason to believe the second won't do the same.
Be sure to get some small plastic bags and I had to clip them on with small binder clips.

My car is always a mess because of the kids. I wanted something that won't take too much space and won't be kicked around by little feet. So this one looked perfect since you can attach it to the back of the seat. I use grocery store bags as trash bags inside of this which makes it easy for me to throw away the trash when it gets filled. I like the material. Feels sturdy and I won't have to worry in case there is liquid inside. The only thing I would like is for it to come with a harder bottom so that it will keep the opening open for easier access.
