Good for soups traditionally flavored with ham!

It's a little salty, and not as easy to work with as a bouillon cube (I'm a big fan on Not-Chick'n and Not-Beef bouillon cubes by Edward & Sons), but it does have a great taste. I really recommend this for soups that are typically flavored with ham, such as split pea. You also get quite a lot in the jar!
