ICE CREAM MAKER!!!!!!!!!!

It a good product the Ice Cream comes out a little melted so you may have to put it in the freezer but over all it works great.
Sits in my cabinet and doesn't get used often

I bought this when my son was 4 years old. We still use it occasionally, but it's a lot of work and it's difficult to get the consistency of ice cream (it doesn't get cold enough) even when using 100% cream and rolling it non-stop.
You are better off going to the grocery store.

The negatives:
takes more time than indicated in instructions to "make" the ice cream into a decent consistency
leaks rock salt into chamber so the ice cream tastes like rock salt, unedible
Makes less than a pint.
Go buy a tub of ice cream instead.

A novel idea, but difficult to get a proper ice cream from it.

It's considerably cheaper than an actual ice cream maker, and it's a lot of fun to play with, but I didn't much care for the texture or consistency of the ice cream that it produced. Anything closer to the bottom of the cylinder gets extremely cold and freezer without mixing into any of the ingredients, then becomes practically impossible to get out of the container. The recipes themselves were rather flavorless and uninspired, but easy enough to dress up if you have a little kitchen know how.
It would be a great thing to have around for the kids, but it fell pretty flat in my house.
