We only tried it on once when I didn't really have much time. My 10-year-old was looking forward to being
a peacock for Halloween, but she just doesn't like it that much. The headpiece looks really odd and I will need to figure out how to keep it
up on her head. So maybe I shouldn't be posting a review yet..... But you can't beat the price for this...... The other thing that I missed in the picture is that the tail feathers are attached to the hands, so if you don't have your hands up and out the tail feather are not spread out and you basically
just look like you have a cute green and purple dress on, so I am thinking about trying to construct something that will keep them up and out - maybe a longer piece of wood or so.......

Very cute costume! My little girl loved it and she looked awesome for her Mardi Gras Parade! The fit was right on as well. She wears a girl's 6 in clothing and I purchased the small costume! I'm very satisfied!!

Purchased this for my niece to wear for Halloween. It was an absolute winner with her, though she wore it over one of her ballet costumes because it was a bit flat, the skirt acted a bit like a crinoline and gave it a bit more shape. It was fairly true to size, if a little big, this last helped since it made wearing something under it easier. The hair piece was a bit of a disappointment and looked nothing like the photo, but I had luckily ordered a mask ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EWSM3MI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) for her to wear. So big thumbs up for it being nicer than expected and making my niece happy. A few extras turns it into a great costume option.

My 9 year old's 2016 Halloween costume! She loves it! The colors are as bright as seen in the picture. It came with wrist straps to hold the feathers up. She's about 50% on the height chart and 65ish pounds and we bought the medium, in case that helps anyone with the sizing.

The only reason I'm giving this item 4 stars is because the hair piece is pretty disappointing. The feathers were a bit matted from the glue and the comb doesn't grip very well. We won't be using it at all and I'll probably do some face paint or find a small eye mask for her to wear with it.
