The Tramontina 10" fry pan was recommended by a website that reviews various brands of cookware pieces for specific uses in the home kitchen. I needed a quality, inexpensive fry pan for sauteed greens and sunny-side up eggs. This works beautifully. No oil, butter, etc. is needed for cooking these items, unless used for desired flavor. This pan heats up quickly and evenly on a lower stove temperature than my previous pans.
The recommending website did indicate that nonstick cookware surfaces general last 2-3 years when cared for according to manufacturer's instructions. This has been the case with all my previous fry pans, and I use a fry pan daily. [These are just some of the instructions and not verbatim: Do not use cooking spray. Use only silicon or wooden utensils. Wash only after the pan has cooled. Do not use high heat.]
The Tramontina fry pan seemed the best choice for my specific cooking need at a price that is reasonable with the expectation that I'll replace this pan in 2-3 years.
I will most likely buy this pan again when needed in the future.

The package arrived quickly and safely. Nice pan. So far so good. I've used it for several weeks now and it makes a terrific omelet. No sticking. I also fried some fish in it, and again, no sticking. The food just slips out of the pan. One thing, the pan takes longer to heat up than stainless steel with copper cores, or even aluminum. it doesn't make a terribly good sear; seems a good cast iron pan is better for that. I also like this pan's handle: easy to use, and the silicone end is removable so you can put the pan in the oven. But I'd keep it in the 375 F range. Most non-stick pans can't handle high heat (like 400 F). I wouldn't chance it. Even the best non-sticks are not good in very high oven heat. For the price, I would recommend this pan.

I'm very satisfied with the pan. It seems sturdy and has a nice rubber coated handle.
The pan heats quickly and cooks evenly, but I I WISH it had a nice thick aluminum clad bottom. The bottom is the same thickness as the sides.

First time a non stick pan has actually had eggs slide right out of pan as on TV. I got the bigger size but the handle is so long to accomadate the balance, I think this is better for 1 pan cooking and a smaller one for everyday use like breakfast and grilled cheese.
