This fell off the vehicle less than 48 hours after installing. I installed the mirror following the included directions. The plastic tabs felt thinner and more brittle than the factory mirror, but I assumed they were sturdy enough. I adjusted the mirrors, gave it a test-jostle and was satisfied it would hold sufficiently. I was mistaken. By mid-day on Monday the mirror flew off and is now litter somewhere along a rural highway in Western Washington. Save yourself some grief. Spend a bit more for something that can actually do the job.

This mirror fit my 2002 Chevy Tahoe perfectly. I am so grateful it did too because I was not wanting to spend $250 for a replacement from the dealership. We had already ordered one from ebay but it wouldn't even snap on. Since I couldn't drive without it I had no choice but to tape it on until I could find one that actually fit. Luckily for me the guy at the dealerships body shop recommended I try amazon. He said he orders most of his parts from amazon for his own vehicles because the dealership had outrageous prices. I was a little skeptic at first because the amazon one did not have the wording that the original one had. My husband being the perfectionist that he is wasn't too happy about that little detail. Amazon was able to find a good match for my truck. The shipping was fast. The installation was pretty quick too. The most I spent installing it was about 5 min. Other than the wording we cant even tell a difference from the original. We have had it on our Tahoe for several months now and haven't had any issues at all. I would highly recommend this item to others.

No Auto Dim feature. Took about 5 minutes of wiggling the connector to disconnect. Directions worked perfect, I tilted the mirror down and used a long flathead screw driver between the motor and mirror to unsnap the mirror. There are about 10 plastic latches to unsnap. I pressed the mirror on with a towel on the mirror and my hand on the back of the mirror assembly until I felt and heard the mirror snap on. Maybe 15 minutes max.
Clear View Again on my 2002 Hoe

Mirror was easy to install, and so far it is distortion-free. This mirror does not have the auto-dimming feature that the OEM had, but for the reduced price, you get a very good clear view. The auto-dimming liquid is what failed on my OEM in the first place. One other slight negative is that there is a cut-out on the backing for the turn signal arrow that some GM models have. It does not affect the view in the glass. I taped over the cut-out with foil tape used for HVAC applications.
Fits 2002 Yukon just fine

Looks close enough to the OEM, but without the heated mirror decal. I had forgotten about the auto-dim feature on the original driver side mirror until I pulled it out and had to disconnect a third wire, and since the back glass is dark enough to not trigger the center rear view mirror to activate that feature it certainly isn't an issue. The $20 aftermarket replacement works just as well as the $800 OEM replacement mirror would have. Score!
Note: I almost sent the mirror back due to distortion, but as a diy'er I have a tendency to keep fiddling with challenges. Come to find out all of the clips weren't snapped on the back! :-\ Pushed the mirror ALL the way on, distortion went away, and cancelled the return. Oops.
