I had read the reviews on this and I must admit I was a bit worried as there had been a few stating that they didn't receive the knife with it, which is what I loved about it. I got it when I was supposed to, opened it up, and no knife. Obviously, I was VERY upset. It looks ok without it, but the knife is what sold me on it. I was putting it back in the packing it came in and just happened to turn over the Styrofoam, and there was the knife! I was elated. So if you get this, make sure you turn it over, the knife is taped onto the back of the Styrofoam. I would have sent it back OR would have kept it and thrown away the packaging had I not, by chance, turned it over. I was extremely happy with it, it looks VERY cool. I bought it for my friend for his birthday, he loves Dragons, now I can't wait to give it to him. I also showed it to a couple of my other friends and they agreed that is was uber cool.

My son absolutely LOVED this. It's bigger than you think and it looks really rich (not cheaply made).

This blade and stand is beautiful. The ornate designs and strange grip is very satisfying but that's where the good things end it's just decoration and the blade does not have an edge, and the grip might be a turnoff for others. but if you're a collector of blades and swords like me then this will look great on a shelf
