After a few weeks of using this the teeth of the blade are all broken. I called Bertech and was told they don't sell replacement blades. Very upset with the quality of these tape dispensers :(
Product arrived bent out of shape. Not well constructed.

I would not recommend buying this tape dispenser. It is not well constructed. When mine arrived, the tape guides were bent and the supports for the tape reel were too wide to support the roller. I had to put it into my bench vise and squeeze it back into shape to accommodate the tape and roller. It works OK now for my basement workshop, but it is kind of lop-sided. I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it, but I probably should. I expected better.

As soon as I put in the first roll of masking tape, I noticed that the slots where the pins of the wheel sit were not even, resulting in the roll of tape sitting crooked and the tape coming off the roll at a slant. That wasn't that big a deal, just annoying having to constantly adjust. But when the cutting blade fell out of the holder and got lost, that was the end of it. Yes, it was sturdy and heavy, and because of that it was easy to assume nice quality, but it is poorly made. From day 1 it never worked as it should, and frankly, how complicated is a tape dispenser? Save your money.

Extremely heavy duty tape dispenser, great for holding your blue label tape for restaurants- able to use one handed. Unfortunately our restaurant fell victim to arson only 2 days after we received it and it is not fire-proof. I'll miss that tape dispenser. You should also know this tape dispenser does not stop arsonists.

I am no longer searching for where I put my tape or where the end of the tape is. I think I'm saving many hours in the week with this one little tool. It is fairly sturdy so that I can pull with one hand (it isn't 100% slide proof, but it is sufficient for me). Super happy that I got this.
