The item is what I expected and it arrived promptly. It appears well made, but since it is to be a gift, it hasn't been used yet. I will update review if necessary.
Great stick!

I bought this pool stick for my five year old daughter. My husband is teacher her to play pool and this stick worked out perfectly. It's well made, nice quality and is the perfect size! My daughter loves it.

I don't know why I was expecting anything more from a 14.99 pool cue stick. I'm sure there's better elsewhere. Out of the box the stick is very bent, thinner than a normal cue stick, smaller tip, there's only finish/sealer on half of the stick, it's very very light not good for hard shots as advertised. This is NOT a stick made for adult billard games. I would say it works for obstructed shots only because it's short and that's all it has going for it. This should only be advertised as a children's cue stick.
Nice kids cue

This is a good short cue for kids to start out. I used to give my daughter half a cue, but that was a bit too short. Now she can use a cue with a proper handle that's not too big. It's also useful for adults if you end up bumping against a wall in some positions. It is very light - weight is 4.3 oz. The cue itself has a slight bend in it and not perfectly straight. Rolling it on a flat service makes this more noticeable. It's not that big of a deal to me, but why I knocked off one star.
Not a true cue stick - end is painted; no tip.

Definitely for kids only.
We bought this as a replacement for one that originally came with our Fisher Price 3-in-1 game table 20 some years ago. We kept the table in good condition and right before selling this, our daughter broke the cue stick. Found this one at a good price (didn't matter - it was the only 36" stick we found) and thought it was an easy solution.
Upon receipt, discovered that the tip of the stick is just wood. It has a painted white ring around it to make it look like a real tip with leather pad, but it is just an extension of the wooden stick with paint. It will suffice for replacing the broken one to sell, but if you need a shorty for a real pool table, don't buy this cheap imitation of a real stick.
