These carriers are very sturdy, but they are thick and may be slow going into the laminator. The laminator rollers sometimes have difficult time grabbing hold of the carrier packet. Also they are wider then some carriers so you have to line up the carrier with the laminator slot/rollers just right or the packet goes in wrong and jams the laminator.

These did not work for the intention that I bought them for, which was to protect my printed stickers while foiling them using a laminator. The ink tends to smear when I run the sticker sheets through the laminator without a cover so I was hoping these carriers would work but they don't allow enough heat through to get the foil to adhere to the stickers. But overall, they seem like a good quality product for the price. I was using a cheap $20 laminator so maybe these will work better with a laminator that produces higher heat.

I didnt think these would work!! I thought they were just heavier weight cardstock. they must have magical properties or something, made out of unicorn fur or something, anyway...I have a minc foiling machine and 2 laser printers plus an ordinairy run of the mil laminator, I tried the minc carrier sheets, (the plastic ones). with images from both printers and both times the foiling was patchy and didnt foil evenly, I was on the edge of ditching both of the older laser printers for another newer laser printer, then my mamma said "buy the letter size lamination carriers, they really work, the foiling is flawless". I reluctantly bought them. They came with prime so I didnt have long to wait. I found a detailed image and printed it out with my newer laser printer, put it in the new carrier sheet put it through my minc and.....well lets just say, the happy dance was extended to the disco version...........PERFECTION. Now any crafters out there who have been having problems may find these will work like a dream. i was just about to throw out two very good laser printers over awful foiling, but now i can keep both my colour printer and black and white printer. they both foiled with perfection when I used these carrier sheets. the thing I suggest you do is to put your laminator on 5mil though if you have the choice between 3mil and 5mil, my non minc laminator struggled to get the carrier sheet through but it didnt have the setting for 5mil, but the minc had no problems, the minc is also designed to foil chipboard though as well as cardstock. SO...if your finding your foiling patchy try these carrier sheets, they are magical.

I do a lot of laminating as a teacher. These carriers are a must.

I purchased to use when foiling on cardstock. I think something thinner like parchment paper would work better. I don't think the heat is getting to my design due to the heaviness of the carriers.
