Pretty and convenient, but it has a slightly quirky on/off switch

I love that this is battery operated! There is a teeny quirk however....
When I went to put batteries into the compartment I realized that the on/off switch was missing. So I logged on to up to return it. As I was packing it up, I discovered a green button on the base. So, being inquisitive, I put batteries back into the battery compartment and tried it out. To my surprise, the green button, both conveniently and discreetly situated, not only turns the hannukia on and off, it lights the shamus and the appropriate number of candles for each night as you cycle through! I am happy with this purchase. I gave this 4 stars instead of five, because although this is a lovely design, I wish there were more options that are appropriate for a formal living room. This looks nice on our mantel, but I would prefer something more contemporary, lower profile, and made of heavier metal.

This product met my expectations. It was packed well and arrived on time. The LED lights are small but the device does not radiate any significant heat. This would be great for a dorm room or a window sill where candles are not a safe option and even incandescent lamps could be an issue.

Smaller and lighter/hollow than I expected. Not very substantial feeling when you hold it- kind of plastic-y with tiny bulbs. But sitting on a table, it really does look nice.
