Bought this loupe to check and monitor trichomes on cannabis.
While this loupe is as described, it's kinda hard to use for my needs. Unfortunately it has to be incredibly close to what you're looking at.
Which for me means getting sticky leaves all over the plastic sides. Not a huge deal but I tried to remove the clear surround and found that they hold the lens in place so not an option. Thought about cutting it down but I really don't care that much.
I'll use it until I find a better solution for my needs. Then it will be for inspecting coins and soldered connections.

I have the 5x for work and sometimes it just isn't enough power. The 10x is perfect. It's big enough to fit object in the glass since you have to put it in pretty close to the lense to focus it. It arrived quicker than expected and it was everything that I needed.
