The color scheme and being E.L.F. brand sold me on this. They've got some glitter which I adore and the price is nicely affordable for the level of quality. The thing I don't like is one of them broke away, also loose powder spreads around mixing with the others. You won't know which color you are actually applying lol. But considering E.L.F's commitment to non toxic products this is a very minor issue to deal with.

So I bought this palette on Wednesday, and it came in the mail on Friday which was sweeeeeet. The company (Yonelay) that sent it to me left a note thanking me for my business which I thought was nice and personable. Now, the eye shadow is packaged very well... It is not as pigmented as I would like it to be. However, I have not used it with water yet because I'm waiting for some makeup brushes to use it with. I'm hoping it looks better when I use it with water. If it doesn't, I'll write another review. Also, I recommend this for people with either dark blue eyes or dark brown eyes. I will definitely buy from the same company in the future and so should you. :)

I gave these a 4/5 because they are decent eye shadows. If you bake something the moisture has evaporated from the product thus, they will be dry when applied dry! It says you can apply these wet if you are looking for a deep foiled pigmented look. If you want just a bit of shimmer and color then sweep it on dry. You can even use your fingers to apply if you like. You do need decent brushes to pick up the color. Overall, the colors are beautiful although some are very similar. I like that about it because I can do a natural smokey eye for the day time and blend them very easily. For the price, it's about getting what you can out of it and you can achieve some sexy looks with this palette with some patience.

I was hoping the colors would be a bit less translucent, but overall it is a good palette to have to go over base shadows. You aren't going to get the same colors from the palette to appear on your lid-- you will get a sheer glimmer, unless of course you pack it on like crazy. Even then, it will still be sheer.
I would swatch the colors, but they are so sheer that it would be pointless. They really are more for overlaying matte shadows to give more of a shimmer, or for adding a very faint shimmer to the lid.
For those of you worried about it breaking, I say take the chance. I live in Japan, so the palette traveled quiet a way to get to me. With the reviews of some of them being broken, I fully expected at least 1 to be broken. Surprisingly, it was perfectly in tact when I received my palette.
