This has been awesome for organizing our garage! I want to be able to park both of our cars in our two car garage while also having storage for all of our tools, camping products, and lawn/garden equipment. Before we installed these slats, we could never find the things we were looking for and we had to climb over things while trying to get in and out of our cars. It was a mess in there. Be sure to follow directions closely because we messed up once with cutting the borders and were forced to do a lot of extra work to correct it! Other than our own error, these were really easy to install with the help of a stud finder and a laser level. They look great and are very functional!
Limit hooks available to work with bikes

I mainly bought to hang my bikes up on wall off floor. I wish Proslat would make a normal bike hook to hang bikes like most bike racks, i.e. At least 12" away from wall. Now I have to weld up something to Proslat base as only Proslat hooks work on my expensive Proslat walls.

Got this for firearm storage. Read the directions very well before starting. It went up fairly easy. I did it as a one-person job but it may have gone a little easier/faster as a two person job. I wish the slats had a matte or textured finish. The bright finish scratches easily. In fact, there were already some scratches when they came out of the box. I'm sure a little polishing compound would fix it but I was too lazy to get involved with all of that after putting it up. This does ship with all of the screws you'll need, which was nice. The slatwall does seem very strong. I got purpose-made gun hangers from another vendor which worked out very well for what I had intended. It makes everything look very professional, too.

These slats fit together easily and work fine. I built a slat wall "Wall" double sided for my trade show booth and this works fine, but, I like the product made by Jifram better. The "Proslat" is heavier and Jifram is lighter weight, which makes a difference as freight to the shows is $1.00/lb. each way.
