My 4yr old was very specific she wanted an Elsa castle so I did a lot of comparisons. I knew I wanted to get something big, sturdy, and has some kind of fun features to the product to get my money's worth. I bought this and gave it a shot. When it came time to put the thing together on Christmas Eve, I crossed my fingers and prayed because it came as a bunch of slats and pieces and screws. I thought, that's it, I'm going to be up until dawn! I'm kind of handy but when it comes to putting this stuff together, I just pass it off to the husband. Sure enough, I put this thing together pretty quickly! It took about 2.5 hours but like I said, it was Christmas Eve and we had a very long day of events so I probably could have done it faster. Every piece was clearly marked and lined up! Here's the best thing, both sides are painted exactly the same so no matter what side you use, it's right! I always make a mistake and have to take a piece apart and re-do it but I didn't with this castle. It wasn't hard to put together and each piece was clearly marked. It looks overwhelming but when you start, you can figure it out.

Obviously nothing is perfect so here are the cons:

1. The top part that has the tiny wooden railing detail that curves out is difficult. You need to have 2 tools, either 1 drill and 1 screwdriver for each end, otherwise it spins and it won't go in. This was a BIG pain. Took forever and even with a drill it was hard to secure together. It didn't screw in easy and the spindles fight you. I recommend using a drill Bc a screwdriver will wear your fingers RAW! Just be gentle as to not split the parts.

2. The doors took a long time to get 4 teeny tiny screws in. Probably Bc they are so small and paired with the placement, they just kept slipping off. Just annoyed they kept slipping off and were really tiny.

3. The stairs in the back. The placement in the back is in an awkward place. She doesn't use it. It doesn't stay. So we scrapped that one piece but not a big deal for us. Wish it was on a side or something Bc they are grand looking to go with the theme.

4. It comes with a water fountain wooden accessory. It doesn't stand so we don't know what to do with it. It's a cute accessory though. I'm sure we just need some imagination for it.

Pros:
1. It's wood, probably MDF but I was okay with it because it didn't crumble. It's durable and hasn't fallen apart. I was worried about the walls crumbling and the doors wouldn't last a week. Luckily that didn't happen!

2. The castle has still held together and the screws stayed in place and walls haven't become loose.

3. My daughter is 4 and the castle is as tall as her! She actually squeezed herself into it! I don't know how but in the end she loves it and plays with it and it's still holding together which is what we want in a product.

4. It comes with some furniture. Chairs arrive assembled and YOU only need to assemble 1 bed which takes seconds. They are cute.

5. Each wall was labeled, lined up perfectly, sits flat/ stable, both sides are painted!

I paid just shy of $100. I was "okay" with this price Bc I only bought one other princess dolls set separately to go with it. Obviously wish it was cheaper but I'm not upset over the cost. Teamson Kids came through with an awesome Christmas gift.

Bought this castle for my daughters 3rd bday and she couldnt be happier. The caslte took about 1hr and 30 min. to put together. There is slight damage to it when i took it out of the box but once put together there is too much going on to ever really notice it. Feels very sturdy but the hardware is definitely visible but again she doesnt care so really it is no big deal. I love it and would buy this one again if i had the choice.

I bought this from Amazon's Warehouse deals. It was a great deal! It's not an actual "Frozen" castle, but it's just as good. The directions are a bit vague, but it's easy to put together. It did take me almost 3 hours, but that's just me. We've had it for over a month now and the so far so good. The paint is holding up, the structure is holding up and we have two heavy handed girls playing with it. The only 'issue' we have are that my girls and pull out the stairs fairly easy, but it's not hard to place them back in. My daughters love this and so do I! It's a great entertaining piece and it comes with some furniture.

I bought this for my three and five year old for Christmas. So, a few nights before Christmas I began putting it together. It took about a whole bottle of wine and the full Adele TV special, as well as half of the Michael Buble one. Upon finishing I realized I was missing a side wall at the top and two of the little wooden figures. Of course I couldn't return it and hope to get another in time for Christmas, so I contacted amazon about maybe just sending me the pieces I was missing. To my disappointment, that was a big ole negative. BUT, they did refund me HALF of the price. I had already bought it during a special, so I am pretty thrilled at the end price.
My daughters LOVE it, they don't really mind the missing side wall, if anything its used as a walking plank for when Barbie gets a little crazy.

Found a big flaw while putting it together. It's two sides on top that take a screw and nut. One side was perfect everything fit. The other side wasn't recessed so screw wasn't long enough to receach nut like the exact other side. I ended up screwing the screw in the opposite side to cut room in the wood to fit the nut, was tough. The screw gets real hot if you need to use the head of the screw to force area around deeper for nut. I did get it to work. The Doll House is great good deal. Hope yours wont have the same problem. All screw holes lined up perfect. If the peices you get are cut in correctly easy to build took me 20 minutes not counting the 15 minutes to fix the error on making it before sending it. Top shelf side is the peice that wasn't made correctly. I feel like a handy man fixing teamson's product. 3-5 stars after built. 50/50 great doll house.
