I have gotten sick on flights because of lack of fresh circulating air. I wore this on flight to Tokyo. I didn't get sick during the 14 hour flight so I'll be using this from now on. My only complaint is the drawstring fit, it doesn't feel 100% comfortable. I would prefer the rubber fit but perhaps that material causes allergies for some. And I like the color.

The mask can be a little warm if it's hot out and you're very active. But you can spritz the mask with cold water to keep it cool for a bit. But it's an overall great product and looks much better than dust mask from a hardware store.

These are great and have saved me from buying tons of disposable masks. We have bad allergies to dust and grasses. So I use mine indoors when dusting or vacuuming, and outdoors when mowing or mulching. I had doubted that getting it damp would really work, or that my sunglasses would not fog like they do when I wear disposables. But getting them damp on a hot day makes it feel cooler and does not effect breathability. And my sunglasses rarely fog up now. These have a shoelace type strap and a bead that slides to tighten them over the ear for a custom fit. So the previous reviews complaining about the elastic wearing out, that issue has been resolved.
