Love these cables: sturdy, well made, affordable
JM Fisk✓ Verified Purchase•November 16, 2017
I really happen to like these cables. They are *heavy* and appear well constructed. The banana clip style connector feels sturdy and inserts securely into the speaker connections in my tube amp and speakers. And relative to the hundreds of $$$ that audiophiles drop in interconnects (brief terminology tutorial: if it costs less than $50, it's a 'speaker cable', if it costs $200 or more, it's an 'interconnect') this is very affordable. I have used these now for the past couple years and have been very pleased with them. It's a good investment.
I’m still testing this Nice sub cable to my old KS12 Klipsch subwoofer

I'm still testing this Nice sub cable to my old KS12 Klipsch subwoofer, and so far so good. I was a bit hesitant at first to buy a 25' length of cable as a 10-15' would be More optimum, but I am getting good bass response distributed across the system regardless. I'm running from an Onkyo NR656 receiver thru a Denon pre-Amp; front speakers Klipsch RF-26 Dolby; older RC3 center & older Klipsch surround sound (RS3) for rear. I'll keep running various bi-wire combinations to the front set & listen to results, but I would recommend to purchase these even now.
Excellent speaker wires

Excellent speaker wires. This is my second set. I had the 6' wires but after moving things to a different room needed the 15'. They've transmit the sound wonderfully. And I'll tell you the truth...before I bought these 15' I tried some generic 16 gauge wire bought elsewhere. Not good. The sound was not as good so I got these and pow. What a difference. I highly recommend these.
this speaker cables fixed my annoying problem. These are well made

OK, I was using Radio Shack speaker wires before and I have been hearing statics/irregular volume with my speakers. I have changed everything else trying to eliminate the problem, but never thought to change the speaker cables.
Suffice to say, this speaker cables fixed my annoying problem. These are well made, thick and heavy. Definitely worth the price.

Would Be a Bargain at Triple the Price . . .

Consider myself a budget audiophile and have a system built around highly rated budget equipment. Had been using lamp cord between my classic B&W DM302s (ELAC B6s should be here any day) and my new NAD 316BEE. Wanted an upgrade on speaker cables without spending more than my speakers. I truly feel the Silverbacks were a great upgrade. Listening to Born to Run on vinyl . . . Dead silent, more bottom end, and more open soundstage. I am sure there are better cables out there but I highly doubt it for about $30 per pair. VERY Satisfied and highly recommended for those looking for a modest but worthwhile upgrade on a budget.
