This is a fine tool for breaking loose stubborn nuts/bolts. I don't think the torque rating claim is accurate but it is quite strong. Personally, I think the torque is more towards 400 ft/lbs., which is still strong. A nice battery powered impact tool but haven't used it enough to give an opinion of reliability......yet. So far, I like it.

I'm not the fix-it guy in the family, but my husband has an eye for a well-designed, high performing tool. When he opened the ACDelco box and got his hands on this impact wrench, he looked like he'd won the lottery. According to him, this tool is a sheer delight to use.

It truly is a super torque model; there's nothing he's tried so far it hasn't handled with utter ease. For all that power, the wrench is compact (and heavy for its size.) It gets into tight spots handily (great onboard light helps), and the two batteries come in handy.

My husband loves it; he said if anyone needs a torque wrench, this will be the last one they'll ever have to buy. High praise, but in my husband's view, the ACDelco super torque wrench earned every syllable of praise

This is your big boy cordless impact wrench right here. I'm not sure if a more powerful 1/2 cordless wrench can be found but I am not sure you would want something that powerful if you could. Comparing this to my DeWalt 1/2 cordless wrench is a little unfair. the Dewalt takes most lugnuts off but does struggle with a few and you are forced to use a hand wrench to loosen the nuts. This one, at least so far, has not needed any additional assistance. This monster has broken (free) every bolt thrown at it. I highly recommend this wrench if raw power is your biggest concern.

There is a recharger (the tool comes pre-charged) and there are two batteries. When it charges it makes a distinct noise - you'll know.

They say you can't judge a book by its cover, but you can definitely judge a wrench by its heft. When you try to lift this wrench up, you know it's business. It's pretty heavy to the point that I have to handle it with both arms, but it has a comfortable grip. I'd hate to drop this 15-pound wrench on my foot.

I have had this product only for a couple of weeks, but I did try to put it through its paces. First, let me say this is quality built. Every joint is seamless.

The unit comes with two batteries, which makes last through almost any job you throw at it. I also have a corded Old Milwaukee wrench that did the job perfectly up to now, and I found this to be almost as powerful. It does not, however, compare to a wrench attached to an air compressor. But you are likely not purchasing this for the heaviest duty garage work. You are purchasing it because it is an excellent solution for almost all jobs and is portable and easy to use and you don't want to deal with a compressor.

In the years of using my Old Milwaukee wrench, I had only one bolt it would not remove. That one had to be taken to a local garage to get enough torque to move it. And the Old Milwaukee seems to be a more powerful and heavy duty wrench. So I assume I will bump into some using this that will require more. But I haven't hit a single one yet. And it is so much easier than running extension coils or compressor cords.

The LCD display shows torque stage, battery indicator, and torque stage memory functions. It is so cool when you start using it. This is a feature I have not seen on any torque impact wrench I have, making it simple to pop those wheels on knowing they are tightened to spec.

Here is how I camd up with my rating.

1. The tool is extremely easy to handle. This makes it easy to control and use. So it gets 1 star for that.
2. The meter is so helpful and works so well that I have to give that 2 stars.
3. The batteries have plenty of power. I am not as hard on these as the guy at an auto repair shop would be, but I use it for some pretty tough applications and it doesn't fail. I have only had the battery run out once and the other battery was plenty to take up the slack. I am not sure if they would run out and get frustrating at an auto repair shop, but for being a cordless rechargeable, I think it fantastic. So I will give it another star.
4. The final and fifth star just comes from the impeccable quality of the unit.
