I put chilli in this locking container.
Brought it to work.
At lunch time I popped open the small vent on top, microwaved it for 2 minutes and opened the 4 secure locking clips on the cover and enjoyed hot chilli.
Update. ..I did run a leak test..I filled it with plain water. I snapped all 4 locks around the cover. I snapped the vent closed.
I then turned it upside down and it did leak dripping water out of the cover at a drip rate of 2 drips per second.
PS..I still love it, I just make sure it is not tilted in my bag on the way to work.

I bought this to heat my son's bottle when we travel and it fits his comotomo bottle perfectly. The cup itself has a nice airtight locking lid with a built in option to vent, it also has a nice handle so you don't have to grab the hot cup after you microwave it or fill with hot water. This cup seems very sturdy and well made and for he money, it is a great deal!

I wish I had found this product sooner! In the past, I cooked my soup in a "Pyrex" glass bowl. I suffered needlessly for years.
When the soup started to boil, it would splash all over the place. I put a paper towel over the bowl, but it just fell into the soup. It was really gross. When the soup was finally done, the glass bowl was extremely hot to the touch; I had to use a towel to hold it. I even dropped the whole bowl a couple of times. (On my leg once, too.)
This product solves all of these issues. The first time I used it, I (1) put the soup into the bowl, (2) put the lid on and put the snaps in place, (3) put it into the microwave, (4) realized I didn't push the little steam release button on top, (5) quickly stopped the microwave and fixed it, (6) restarted it, (7) finished the cooking (the microwave beeped), and this is the best part: I immediately took it out using the handle, which wasn't hot at all.
I then enjoyed my soup. In fact, I am now so enthused about soup that I'm leaving for the grocery story to buy more. This is a good product. So good that I'm telling you about it right now. Good luck!

I use these only for cooking ramen noodles (1 packet only). We absolutely love this noodle bowl. I ordered two and everyone is constantly fighting for it when one person is done using it. We never used the lids, so I can't review that part of this product. However, I can tell you that the handle does not get too hot for my 6 and 8 year old. They can walk around holding the handle and feel confident that they will not get burned. The quality of the bowl is holding up very well and we use these bowls at least 4 or more times a day. We have a lot of noodle lovers in our household that eat noodles all day. We've never cooked anything else in these bowls but noodles. Hope this helps.
