It's a great piece of equipment but just know it doesn't come with all the wires to properly wire up a speaker and the battery and the PA if you are not electrically inclined your gonna need to take it in somewhere to get installed.

It is everything it says it is ... for thoose wondering yes it sounds exactly like a police car horn ... ignore the YouTube videos that show it sounds wrong ... just make sure that you use a good name brand speaker i used a Whelen sa315P that i got used off of an ex cop car ... install is easy if you have a basic knowledge of how to wire stuff up in cars you really only have to run 6 wires power ground speaker positive speaker negitave and two wires to a momentary switch ... install took me about 3 hours half of which was spent figuring out where to mount it as the unit is bigger then i expected ... so if you are looking for an air horn with out the siren look no further ... if you are installing on a 05-10 grand Cherokee i would recommend mounting the unit under the passenger seat as it was a perfect fit for me

I installed this in my 1995 Ford Ranger and it is sweet! I zip-tied the mic holder to my stick so it is close to my hand. My truck had no passenger airbag from the factory so I mounted the amplifier in that compartment. The horn feature commands the attention of any A-hole who pulls out in front of you. The horn gets you eye contact of the a-hole just before you announce VERY LOUDLY what you think of the idiot. It also helps with more than idiots. I have used it to tell semi trucks, and people in the left hand turn lane to go ahead and turn. This product is more of a safety device than a s*** talker. Its even wired into my steering wheel so no pesky buttons to look for in an emergency. My friends are truly jealous and are saving up to buy one. The seller is Need Lights out of Oregon. Need lights is almost as awesome as this amplifier. You will NEVER regret having this in your vehicle! p.s. It does not come with the mic extension in the picture. While a little bulky, this PA/horn unit is very useful. IT produces a loud, but also clear horn tone that will have traffic alert and moving out of your way quite rapidly. I especially like the PA feature for the fact that sometimes, you JUST need to tell a driver they're driving like a drunken monkey.

This thing is awesome. I used to have just the electric airhorn function but the amplifier was damaged in an accident. I bought this to replace it and to add the public address function. It is incredible. I did have a few issues at first but it had nothing to do with the seller. Apparently Whelen had packaged the incorrect microphone so the public address function wouldn't work. The seller took care of this ASAP. Also there was something wrong inside the amp that caused the public address function to work intermittently. Whelen fixed it real fast. I have had whelen products in the past and they are always top notch. I think I just happened to have bad luck and received a messed up unit. So I did have a little issues at first but I do not think its representative of the quality. Now I can honk real loud to move the slow people out of the left lane and pull up at red lights and holler at the hot moms walking on their cell phones, pretending to work out. I would definitely purchase it again and recommend this to anyone.
