A bit low powered. Doesn't always ignite on the first click.

It's a bit low powered, which means that you have to get closer to the wrap to make it work. This can easily lead to melting. The higher powered models with larger guards seem to deliver more even heat, which is what's required to avoid burning holes in the wrap.
The ignitor isn't the most reliable, either. Sometimes I have to click it several times to get the flame going. Still, it's not bad for a budget-conscious occasional user, just practice on something unimportant first.

I think this is a good value for the price. I have done two jets ski so far. The only issue I had is on off switch had to be adjusted. It would not allow gas to flow. I some times have issue getting a good flame but if I put my hand of the back, to starve it for error, the flame will change. Overall, it is a good value for the price, especially if you are only doing it for your personal boat or a couple of friends
