Grandson is 53 lbs, this fit him fine w room to grow. Cuffed up sleeves & pants worked perfect.
My only complaint (hence the 4 stars)... the belt is too short... but about 2x3" or so, in order to tie the appropriate Ninja knot w double wrap.

The stitching on this go has more reinforcement than my husband's. I altered it so that my son could use it for a themed camp this summer. I removed the arms and it looks awesome! I bought the size 3 for a tall 10 year old. It will fit a little large but that's okay. Would recommend it to those who are using it for it's intended purpose too. Very nice workmsnship.

My son is exactly 42" and this gi is way too short for him. The pants fit perfectly, but the top covers only the top portion of his buttocks so the top always rides over the belt. This is very distracting and the sensei told me that I need to buy a bigger size. The size chart is incorrect. I'm upset that I purchased two sets. I already washed the uniforms so I can't return them.

The sizing on this product is awful. My daughter is 5 and in the 99th% for height and she seemed to fit into the prarmeters for a 000 but then it was super long on her. I then ordered a 00 and it was unbelievably small. There really seemed like there was no in-between.
