i have installed it, pain in the butt, no hole to bolt the back end down - so I drilled one. you need to flip the seat back to remove the bracket that holds a connector (that info is in the instruction) but nothing about removing all 4 bolts. Of course you have to remove the drawer to to put the rear bolt in and the brake pedal is in the way to slide the drawer back in... so you have to depress the brake with one hand and guide the rails with the other... pain in the ... it's done and should provide the security I need for whatever I put in it. Just be prepared.
Nice, but over priced

Great security drawer: very strong drawer slides, opens farther than any drawer I've seen, easy to find keyhole, smooth operation.
Lost one star because you have to remove a factory wire bracket from the seat to use this product.
Lost another star because it's twice the price of the Bestop security drawer.

It looked good,,,,

I give the box itself "5" stars, but I give the seller, "4Wheel Online", -5 stars!!! The drawer arrived on time and I immediately found that it would not fit in my 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK, and FYI it will not fit in any 2-door jeep because of the movement of the front seats for rear seat access, "BUT NOWHERE IN THE DESCRIPTION DOES IT SAY THAT"!!! So I had to send it back at my cost for the return shipping which was over $50.00 because of the weight. The box seemed to be sturdy but the seller, "4Wheel Online", was very unethical in my opinion.

Well, once installed it's a good box. I thought it would latch closed without being locked where you push a button to open it. But you have to have a key every time you get into it. Not locked, put on the brakes and it'll slide open and hit your heals.
Then there's the optional screw that is not really optional. I left it out at first then if you hit a bump the back of the box flops up and down rattling tools and bumping the bottom of your seat slapping you in the ass. You will need a 1" or 3/4" hole saw to drill an access hole in the top of the box to get to the screw. Also, you might want to move the hole towards the front some because as it is you will come out under the jeep right on top of a beam. I didn't foresee this and it is very hard to get to. Had to get a second person to turn the screw on top while I had my hands crammed in holding the nut.
I would suggest the factory cutting an access hole over where the screw goes at the very least and not refer to the rear screw as optional. I would suggest a latch that you can use without having to lock it as well.
Otherwise, now that it's finally installed, I think I'll be happy with it. If it weren't for the latch and access hole, I would give it a 5.

Must Have Lockbox for Jeeps and other vehicles!

A "must have" item especially for transporting valuables. Not difficult to install but I chose to anchor the back corner so it required me drilling a hole (5/16" dia) thru the floor pan which to accomplish required me to take out the driver's seat in my Jeep Wrangler 2 Door. Very well made and the drawer is easy to take in and out when needed. Just remember to line the inner top surface of the outer enclosure before you install . You can pull out the drawer and line it once the outer enclosure is secured by the seat bolts and the rear bolt in the corner of the box. I used rubberized shelf liner (Lowe's) secured with double sided indoor/outdoor carpet tape (Lowe's). This is a very sturdy and well finished lockbox! Highly recommend!
