This switch is a direct replacement. I was hesitant to order but have not been able to find the OEM Version. This switch seems to be holding up well. We make a lot of saw cuts everyday and finally the switch gives up. So far so good!

I brought this switch because one of the other reviewers indicated that it would work with a 10" compound saw purchased from Harbor Freight. I was able to get it to work with a bit of modification to the saw handle and a change in the wiring, but it was well worth it as Harbor Ffright said there were no replacement parts available.
.To get the new switch to work, some of the handle plastic will need to be ground down as the new switch is larger than the old one. Additionally, there are four wires attached to the original switch and the wires will need to be reversed on the new switch. Sounds complicated, but it really isn't and well worth the 20 minutes it takes to get it to work

Switch works great on my chopsaw.

Good switch , modified it to fit my dewalt w704 saw ... BEWARE the schematic is a little misleading .. almost burned out my motor. Read the numbers at the screw leads, not the schematic picture.. it's 90 degrees different..
