Great Concept, Poor Execution - Still a reasonable value IF you are a Handyman

Purchased 6 weeks ago - not assembled right away due to some injuries
Today, out of the box, there were some rust rings on the plastic bag, and 3 of the 6 tie-wraps securing the parts had been clipped
I did not find any rust on the actual pieces, so figured OK, will build it
VERY easy to construct - - BUT - - ONE of the screws in the lower tray was MISSING - Whisky Tango Foxtrot, Over ??
AND - one of the support rings in the lower tray had been deformed into an OVAL (MUST be round for the leg to fit !!)
So - I had a stainless steel sheet-metal hammer (Grandfather was a Pro) that I used to whack the support ring back into round
And - I found a replacement screw in my 'miscellaneous' drawer (It was a WEIRD Metric size - they COULDN'T just use a 1/4-20 fastener)
-
Bottom line - IF you get a complete kit without defects, this thing is great !!
IF you get one like mine, you'd better have some spare parts and some handy-man chops
Or you'll be up Spit Creek without a spoon
-
Update: OK - we've had it for some time now - - so far it hasn't rusted, and to answer a new question about it, I went out and put all my weight (all 160#) divided in the middle of the front and rear top bars. Zero flex, and I'll bet it would have taken more (YMMV). I assembled ours with the bottom shelf a bit higher (see pix). It does the job, and aside from the assembly hassles, if needed, I'd consider getting another one.

This has been perfect. The size fits perfectly

I was looking for a table to use on my narrow deck, next to the grill. This has been perfect. The size fits perfectly, and there is plenty of surface space to put platters or utensils. I know it's a potting table, but it works great in my space as a grill table. I did not bring it indoors last winter, and I see no wear or damage on it from surviving a MN winter.
Great garden table.

This is exactly what I was looking for; assembled within minutes. However, I can't figure out how to attach the bag. If the hooks are supposed to be inserted into the little holes at the end of each metal strip, they don't line up. I can't figure out how to do it any other way either. And...I can't find the "ask question" link, so hopefully someone will see this....
Multiple Garden Uses

I bought three of these potting benches and I love them. They are lightweight but sturdy. During gardening season, I move them around my garden to use as saw horses, stands for painting, tables to hold tools, and just about anything that I need a standing-height surface to work from. In the winter, they go into the greenhouse to use as potting benches and stands for seedlings and supplies. The top is weather-proof and easy to wash off. I only use the bags for trash and compost, but they come in handy for that. Since they are lightweight, they are not suitable for heavy items on the top shelf in windy areas, but the bottom shelf can be set to any height, and heavy items can be placed on it without fear of toppling. I also bought the metal-mesh tops and they work as well. The advantage to the metal mesh tops is that light can get through to the low shelf allowing double-decker plants.
