These are good but a little dry. When I got them, I found the lid had partially come off and 1/4 had spilled out. I don't know but it's possible they had been a little juicier, but exposure to the air dried them out more. Don't get me wrong, the dates were still good. I didn't throw any away. I just had a small bowl right after receiving and put the rest back in the container. I've been eating these for about 4 days straight now, I'll take a small bag to work with me to snack on. I also made date applesauce. I have a big crockpot. I put a little water at the bottom, then added 6 lbs. of organic apples and 2.5 lbs. of these dates. I let it all simmer slowly for about 4 hours, blended them, and it came out absolutely delicious. I've only had these about a week and they're already almost gone.

These are pitted but the label warns you they may possibly miss some. In the whole thing, so far I just had 1 with a pit. If you're giving these as treats to young children, you may want to cut them in half just to make sure there's no pit. I find it surprising so much dried fruits have added sugar. I believe these are only dates without added sugar or preservatives. It says to refrigerate after opening. I think that's a good sign as this is real food and not stuffed with a bunch of preservatives. But since these are only going to last about a week and a half at my house, I did not stick in fridge. The intensity of sweetness: These are not really sugary sweet but more of a natural fruit sweet. They are also somewhat sticky but not overly so. Overall, very much liked these but wish they had a little more moisture. With that said, these are still the best dates I've found on Amazon and at a great price. Will happily buy again.

I use these in smoothies. This is a really big bin!!! They're nice and moist and I've yet to find a pit in mine. Would buy again.

Will definitely not buy again. Poor flavor. No comparison to Sara and Anna's which are super great! Would return i I had known this b4 I ordered.

When I want something sweet after a meal I would have a couple of dates but these do not satisfy. Guess I was trying to save a few bucks!

I would like a refund as I DEFINITELY will not use these.

Use this in baking and non baking , for sweetness needs. Works great, spouse eats this like candy. Will buy more!

These dates are so good and can be stored for months at a time, as long as the seal is intact. I used to buy them locally in San Diego, and Amazon has the best prices and availability I've found since moving to the Midwest.
