The company was so helpful when I installed it incorrectly. Emailed them and they spoke to me at length. Even sent me photos of how to install it. Love the cap, easy to install once I read the directions properly. Love the cap and knowing my tank is secure

For those of you who are concerned with someone stealing your oil or vandalizing your tank, this is an item you should not be without. It is well made and virtually impossible to remove without the key. Folks, get yourself some peace of mind and purchase one of these locks. Definitely worth every penny!
Strong, durable and easy to use

This is a great way to prevent theft of heating oil. This cap is very easy to install and use. Its parts are all metal and durable. The only maintenance needed here is maybe a quick spray of WD-40 into the lock after a few months of it being outside in the elements.
