I read mixed reviews, but these gems were above par and what I expected. I consider Myself a gemstone connisour :D and got these to fill the rest of My gem tray and for the treasure! It was SO Fun getting so many of these and inspecting and sorting them. You could pay the whole 7$ for just 1 or 2 of these stones.

Bought it once, bought it again, got some more... this could become a habit. The gems aren't worth thousands of dollars, and the price should indicate. They are beautiful though. Recommended for those who like to have and appreciate beautiful things, either with an additional purpose or not. Both lots that I purchased (50 carats mixed) had good variety in gem, color, cut. I wasn't thrilled by emerald lot I purchased from them, though a soak in some cedar-wood (red cedar, or juniper really) oil helped them shine a bit. The ruby lot was more pleasing... pink sapphire really, though one or two going deeper red, and the mixed color sapphires only yielded me one blue, and one nice tiny ruby (which is just a deeper red sapphire), but the rest were more amber... pretty though... but this larger lot of mixed "semi-precious" has been my favorite. The peridot and blue topaz are brilliant, and I love garnets, these being deep red, and the amethyst... I think I'll get some more! For what? I have no idea, and does there have to be a reason or purpose? Why are there daffodils?

Only one green stone most were topaz or amethyst, 3 ugly cloudy orange ?calcite or carnelians, but value is worth it expect poorly cut but not rough or cracked but with a few scratches, nice for crafting or other uses not for jewlery per se although if you knew what you are looking at you could find an expensive stone in here for $5 including shipping, I'd buy again.
