This little cage is great! I needed a small travel/extra cage for my budgie, and this one is perfect. It was packaged well, assembly was simple, and it seems to be good quality. The 2 perches that came with mine are wood, not plastic. My only minor quibble is with the food bowls: they're cheap, and they don't even have perches on them. Not a huge problem for me, though, because I was probably going to get new food/water bowls anyway. Overall, really happy with this cage.

I'm recopying a previous review from 2015 - just changing the gender because I totally agree and the same thing happened for my parakeet: I bought this for my parakeet because she's very active and the smaller cage I had just wasn't cutting it anymore. It set up very easily and wasn't complicated which I love. As soon as she was transferred she started whistling and doing laps around it. She approves 100% and is much happier with more space!

This Is a cute cage. The construction is the same as any other cage you buy at a pet store. It's not flimsy like the other review said. It is a good size for my handicapped parrolett but if you have a larger bird this cage would be to small.
