I received this today. Beautiful picture, lightweight, easy setup, nice DVD player, hookup with Chromecast on HDMI port was simple. The only drawback has been mentioned before... really tinny-sound. Fortunately I had an unused Harman Kardon Soundsticks PC speaker set (with sub-woofer) which hooked easily into the headphones input, so now it sounds great. If it weren't for the awful audio, I would have given it 5 Stars.

It's a great TV, super graphic ability, but the audio is horrendous. Yes, you can make it loud and hear it across the room, but audio is often distorted. The audio is so bad, I'm not even sure a sound bar would help. But if you want simple, plug it into the wall for power and antenna (I use sat DISH TV via their pod thing that I have on a card table outside), it's great. I am out in the middle of the woods in a RV so the fact I get any TV is impressive. The fact my image is better (ie. crisper) that what we get at our house speaks well for the TV itself. My only gripe is the audio quality.

I read a lot of the reviews just before mine came, and said to myself that no I bought a lemon, but when it came and I opened it once I was able to figure it all out I have to say its well worth the money I was shocked how awesome it worked and the picture quality was amazing. The DVD is awesome haven't tried it on anything else, cause we are just using it our camper to watch movies on. If it holds up I think it was money well spent

I would really like to give this product a no star due to their very poor customer service but not possible. I bought this TV for my husband as a xmas gift for the RV. Well he installed it a few weeks back as we are getting ready for a trip. Big problem with the remote sensor. It only works if you tap on the side of the TV. So under a manufacturers warranty of ,one year we called the company. The first rep who's name was Andrew had us walk through the reset applications and of course that has nothing to do with it so it did not work. In the process of putting us on hold he hung up on us, so we immediately called back and went through the hold process a 2nd time for about 15 minutes. (First time was also at least that long). This time we got Daisy on the line who also wanted us to do the reset process again but we told her that we had and it did not work not that it absolutely had nothing to do with it. She proceeded in telling us at that point that we would have to send the TV back to them at our expense and they would fix it. Well call me STUPID but that is not good business. We than escalated the call and asked for a supervisor and was then told there was none available. I've been down that road before so we demanded one and again was put on hold while she said she would find one. 5 or 10 minutes later she comes back on the line and gets our mailing address and phone number which they already had from the first call and said that a supervisor would be calling in 3 to 4 business days. Well needless to say that was 2 weeks ago and we have heard absolutely nothing. Oh they also asked for email and we have heard nothing by that means either. I am very disappointed with this and will never buy another thing from this company. I do not recommend this product to anyone. This company does not stand by their product...

I bought this little guy to replace a 30+ year old kitchen set. Read through most all reviews on this model as well as a few others and decided to go with this one. Picture is excellent, size is perfect and shipping-wise it came way ahead of schedule per Amazon. All seems to work fine....don't get thrown off by some of the reviews about the remote - hey, looks like a remote to me and is easy to use and the set is responsive. No cable or sattelite here, just picking up digital signals via a huge antenna in my attic. Plugged in the antenna cable; used the on-screen setup menu; did a scan and pick up the stations I was hoping to see just fine. DVD player seems to work like it should.
As most reviewers stated, and I have to agree...the sound quality is horrible. But, to be expected I hear on many of these flat screens. My solution - headed to the store and picked up a decent set of PC speakers ($19.00), plugged in to the headset jack and WOW. Now sounds like a real television and is an asset to the kitchen and a real space-saver. Overall, a good buy if you're in the market for a small set.
I purchased also the Lumsing® Articulating Full Motion Swivel Tilt Tv Wall Mount Bracket here on Amazon. More than enough to handle this little guy and the arm extends out 17.5" so can position it to watch in my breakfast nook as well. All in all.....easy setup on both. 4 stars given due to the set's poor sound quality only.
