these are a good idea. i thought they'd be similar to the roller skate ones i wore as a kid. they are horribly designed. The straps do not keep these on you shoes. they also run small. i ordered a small pair for my 4 yr. old daughter who wears a little kids 11 and a large for my 6 yr old son who wore a little kid 13 and they didn't fit on the largest setting

I bought four pairs (three pink and one black). Three out of the four pairs fell apart on the very FIRST time used! The bolt came apart and the top piece to the bolt was lost. The straps aren't well designed and are hard to keep tight. These are a great idea but very poorly designed. I would not recommend.

They broke with in the first 5 min. The staps don't hold. I read the reviews and thought they can't be too bad. They were, they slipped off my daughters feet even when I tried using laces to keep them on. Spend the extra ten dollars and get real skates.

Tie in the skate with a hockey lace and you're all set.
